Airport passenger traffic tripled in last 10 yrs in major cities in India

The Indian Aviation has been growing from last 10 yrs, except for a small dip in 2008 & 2012. Out of the top 6 Airports mentioned below, except for Mumbai & Chennai which have grown a little over double the total passenger traffic from 2005 to 2015, other Airports like Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad & Kolkata have grown more than three times in the same period. Below is a chart showing the graph of total passenger traffic from 2005 to 2015

In the international passenger traffic trend, Bengaluru has seen the highest growth with more than 4 times the number of international passenger traffic from 2005 to 2015, and the following other Airports are Hyderabad about 3.5 times, Kolkata about 3 times, Delhi about 2.5 times & Mumbai & Chennai little less than two times.

In the domestic sector, Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad have grown more than 3 times, Chennai & Kolkata have grown about 3 times & Mumbai little less than 3 times.

Here is a chart showing the detailed traffic growth with increase or decrease over each year from 2005 to 2015 for the Airports : Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad & Kolkata for all three (Total, International & Domestic Passenger Traffic)
